Job summary

Movu Robotics zoekt een Embedded Software Engineer die de software van onze robots meeschrijft en onderhoudt op een nieuw platform. Je werkt samen met een multidisciplinair team aan de herschrijving van onze robotics applicaties en verbetert betrouwbaarheid en prestaties.

Je codeert in C/C++ of Rust, werkt aan modelgebaseerde ontwerpen en documenteert kritisch. Reizen naar België en af en toe buitenland zijn mogelijk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in industrial engineering or software engineering.
• Strong experience in C/C++; ambition to grow into Rust is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink is a nice-to-have.
• Genuine R&D mindset with curiosity to explore and improve.
• Result-driven, with a good sense of humour and strong team spirit.
• Stress-resistant, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the rewrite of our robotics application software onto a new platform.
• Optimise, expand, and maintain our embedded software landscape.

As an Embedded Software Developer at Movu Robotics, you’ll help shape the software that powers our robotic systems — and you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll join a team of 7 enthusiastic colleagues, working in close collaboration with R&D engineers from electrical and mechanical backgrounds, on the rewrite of our current robotics application software onto a new platform.

Your responsibilities:
