Ultrasonium is seeking a hands-on robotics engineer to design and integrate motion and manipulation systems. You will develop kinematics, motion planning, and trajectory generation, while integrating actuators and sensors to support perception and feedback.

You will collaborate with the controls team on closed-loop behavior and test on real hardware. You will own robotics documentation and contribute to IP development with the founding team, operating in a lean, on-site startup environment that

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of robotics or motion-systems experience.
• Strong foundation in kinematics and motion planning.
• ROS or an equivalent robotics framework.
• Sensor integration and real-time or embedded experience.
• Hands-on hardware experience.

About The Role

You will design and integrate robotic motion, manipulation, and sensing systems, and work with the controls team to close the loop on real hardware. You will work directly with the founding team on a novel machine.
