Intermodalics bv is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to design, implement and improve software for robotics applications. You will work on Linux, contribute to ROS 2 based systems, and shape both cloud and edge deployments from Leuven, Belgium.

You will touch the full stack: system bringup, perception/vision, architecture, tooling and visualization, while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on challenging robotics projects across industries.

Qualifications

• Master in Information Technology or Robotics Engineering.
• Fluent on Linux systems and experienced with building and shipping C++ and/or Python software.
• 3+ years of experience developing software.
• Ownership of missions and tasks to achieve the mission.
• Initiative to identify and solve important problems with cross-cutting coordination.
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Able to work independently while being a team player with reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and improve robotics software, in the cloud and on the edge.

We're looking for a Robotics Software Engineer with hands-on experience in a Linux environment and robotics software tools. For this role, you are working full time at our main office in Leuven, Belgium.

About the Role

Our Robotics Software Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, building and improving robotics software, both in the cloud and on the edge.

You touch all aspects of the robotics software stack: system bringup, IO interfaces, algorithms/computer vision, architecture, tooling and visualisation.
