You will develop control systems for robotic arms, implement motion planning and kinematics, integrate sensors and vision, and ensure safe operation around staff and patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience developing robotic manipulation systems and robotic arms.
• Commercial experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Expertise in robot kinematics, motion planning, and control systems.
• Programming in Python and/or C++.
• Experience integrating sensors, cameras, or machine vision systems.
• Knowledge of autonomous systems, robot safety, and human-robot interaction.

My client are working on an advanced robotic arm platform designed for use within hospital environments. The system will assist clinical staff by automating repetitive tasks such as medication handling, sample transportation, laboratory preparation, and equipment delivery within controlled healthcare settings.

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and optimisation of robotic systems operating safely around healthcare professionals and patients.
