Parallel Consulting in Belgium seeks a capable Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for web applications, APIs and back-end systems. You will create reusable test scripts in Python and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and QA teams to define test strategies, execute functional, regression and end-to-end testing, and report defects with clear metrics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automated testing and test-automation engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework for test automation.
• Strong Python scripting and automation development skills.
• Experience automating API and web application testing.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, processes and best practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in Energy & Banking sector is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web apps, APIs, and backend systems.
• Create and execute automated test cases using Robot Framework.
• Develop reusable test scripts and utilities in Python.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, POs, and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyse results, identify defects, and provide detailed reporting.
• Contribute to test framework enhancements and automation best practices.
• Support release activities and ensure quality across environments.
• Drive continuous improvement in software testing and QA processes.
