Job summary

UCB S.A. is seeking a Risks, Resilience & Operational Excellence Lead to strengthen the Patient Supply Quality Control organization.

You will translate strategic priorities into a clear QC actionable roadmap, drive resilient performance, and embed sustainable improvement through governance, data insights and employee engagement. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, pharmacy, quality, operations, analytics or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience within a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical Quality Control and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.
• Experience applying Kaizen and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience in strategy deployment, performance management and risk management and business-continuity planning.
• Ability to leverage data to identify improvement opportunities, optimize processes and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Strong data literacy and ability to collaborate with digital, data and IT teams.
• Influential and inclusive communicator with strong project leadership skills and excellent English and French.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Patient Supply QC Operational Excellence roadmap.
• Lead and coach cross-functional improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and data-driven problem-solving.
• Translate strategic priorities into objectives, roadmaps, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Manage performance frameworks, KPIs, governance reviews and improvement actions.
• Oversee the QC risk portfolio, mitigation plans and business-continuity readiness.
