Ebbinge Belgium in Brussels is seeking a Research Associate Executive Search to help shape the future C-level teams for private equity funds and family businesses. You will work closely with our consultants, diving into markets and industries to uncover visionary leaders who drive growth.

You will analyze sectors, craft market maps and presentations, and build strong candidate relationships, guiding them through the process.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a related field.
• First professional experience or internship in executive search or research-driven environments is a plus.
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn throughout the process.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and in a team.

As a Research Associate, you are the strategic engine behind every successful search. Working hand-in-hand with our consultants, you will dive deep into markets and industries. Your mission? Not just finding resumes, but uncovering the visionary leaders who will truly drive growth and value creation.

• Cracking the market: You analyze sectors, map out trends, and identify top-tier talent- often professionals who aren’t even actively looking yet.
• Crafting the narrative: You translate complex search strategies into compelling market maps, presentations, and updates that keep our clients ahead of the curve.
• Building connections: You act as the first point of contact for high-potential candidates. You listen to their ambitions, spark their interest, and guide them smoothly through the process.
• Spotting opportunities: You keep your finger on the pulse of market developments and proactively contribute ideas for business development.

You are naturally curious and love getting to the bottom of things. You easily combine a sharp, business-oriented mindset with a healthy dose of empathy and human intuition.

Your profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree (e.g., Economics, Finance, Business, Commercial Engineering, HR, or a related field) and have a genuine interest in private equity and entrepreneurship.
• A first professional experience or a solid internship in executive search, professional services, or another research-driven environment is a great plus. However, your proactive mindset and eagerness to learn matter just as much.
• You are a strong communicator, take ownership of your work, and thrive in an environment that blends autonomy with strong team spirit.
• You are fluent in English, combined with a professional command of Dutch and a good understanding of French.
