Job summary

AKD in Brussels seeks a summer intern to test legal knowledge in a full-time, one-month program. You will write legal memos, interpret client issues, and work in multidisciplinary teams with experienced lawyers guiding you from day one.

Ideal candidates are in the final year of a Law bachelor’s or pursuing a Belgian law master’s, with a high standard for themselves and a keen interest in the Belgian legal profession. AKD offers onboarding and a collegial culture.

Qualifications

• Currently in the final phase of a bachelor’s degree in Law or started a legal master’s degree at a Belgian university.
• Demonstrates interest in investigating whether the Belgian legal profession has opportunities.
• Sets high standards for themselves and shows strong motivation.
• Interested in gaining practical experience under guidance from AKD lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Learn to write legal memos and interpret client issues in practice.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams within AKD.
• Work on daily practice tasks during a one-month full-time internship.
• Receive substantive and personal guidance from experienced lawyers and participate in onboarding.
