EngiFlex is seeking a Digital Communication & Ecosystem Lead to strengthen visibility, credibility and reach within the European deep-tech ecosystem. This proactive role blends communication strategy, content creation, event marketing and ecosystem engagement.

This candidate will help position a venture-building and startup support platform by shaping and executing its communication approach, managing its external presence, expanding its network and supporting ecosystem activities and events.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree.
• Experience in communication, marketing, copywriting, ecosystem building and/or community management.
• Hands-on expertise in event marketing and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to draft and implement communication plans, including internal communication where relevant.
• Experience with corporate, marketing and/or product copywriting.
• Stay up to date with trends and developments in digital communication, content marketing and social media.
• Experience working with startups and understanding entrepreneurial and innovation-driven environments.
• Data-driven approach and ability to use performance insights to improve communication impact.
• Can edit photos and videos and create visuals using Canva, Illustrator or similar software.
• English is required for this assignment; Dutch is not mandatory.

• Develop and refine the communication strategy and annual calendar.
• Own LinkedIn presence; create and publish engaging content.
• Produce stories featuring startups, researchers, investors and partners.
• Write articles, newsletters and website content.
• Translate complex technologies into accessible narratives.
• Coordinate visual content and editing of photos/videos.
• Support event communication before, during and after events.
• Identify partnerships and launch community initiatives and proprietary events.
