Job summary

Bloomlife is seeking a junior to mid-level cloud/platform engineer to provision and manage our product infrastructure across development to production. You will build and maintain cloud architectures using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting, while ensuring security and observability.

You'll work in a remote or hybrid setup spanning US Eastern Time to Eastern European Time, collaborating with platform, product, and algorithm teams to deliver reliable healthcare software products.

Qualifications

• Background in Software Engineering, IT Administration, Cybersecurity Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• Experience configuring resources with a major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP, using Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting.
• Understanding of the OSI network stack.
• Ability to work as a team and provide architectural feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage product infrastructure across the product life-cycle, from development to production.
• Develop, deploy and maintain cloud-based architectures using Infrastructure as Code.
• Set up logging, telemetry and alerts to monitor performance and production systems.
• Ensure infrastructure and data security with access controls and secret management.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks, and develop scripts for incident recovery.
• Collaborate with platform team, product engineers and algorithm developers to provide robust infra for deployment in products.
• Provide guidance on industry best practices around design, testing, security and operations.
