5th Floor is seeking a data-focused professional to join their BI and data team in Belgium. You will collaborate with BI architects, analysts and developers to deliver reliable decision-support solutions.

The role involves requirement gathering, data modelling, and ensuring user adoption of new BI tools. You will work in a hybrid setup with regular workshops, aiming to maximise impact of data across business domains.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French with good English; able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong SQL skills including analytical functions.
• Power BI for data modelling and semantic layer knowledge.
• Knowledge of Kimball dimensional modelling and data warehouse architectures.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable data solutions.
• Belgian public sector experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Join a Data team with BI architects, analysts, data experts, and visualization specialists.
• Collaborate with business experts, Product Owners, and BI developers to deliver reliable decisional solutions.
• Define objectives for your domain and scope, based on business challenges.
• Organise workshops with business experts and end-users to gather and formalise needs.
• Develop concise functional analyses, user stories and acceptance criteria for the dev team.
• Support users in adopting new solutions and in continuous improvement through testing and communication.
• Identify and implement other relevant initiatives (data model, semantic layer, processes).
• Integrate into the client environment and navigate dynamics between teams.
