Sunrise Group, a sleep health company, is expanding its digital sleep clinic and seeking a Back-end Developer to scale backend systems built with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and cloud-based tooling. You will contribute to robust, secure healthcare platforms and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will work on API development, data integration, and performance improvements while maintaining HIPAA/GDPR-aligned security practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• +5 years of professional experience as a Back-end Developer.
• +2 years of hands-on experience in Python.
• Experience with Django, including Django REST framework.
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Languages: French and English

Responsabilités

• Backend Development: Build and maintain reliable backend services using Python, Django, and related technologies.
• API Development: Create and evolve RESTful APIs to power front-end/mobile apps and third-party integrations.
• Performance & Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and ensure fast, scalable applications.
• Architecture & Design: Contribute to scalable, maintainable platform architecture.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce best practices to secure health data per regulations.
