Sunrise Group, a sleep health innovator, seeks a Back-end Developer to scale our digital sleep clinic. You will build robust backend systems, ensure healthcare compliance, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers.

You will work with Python, Django, Celery, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (GCP, Docker, Terraform). The team operates remotely across France and Belgium, embracing autonomy and collaboration to deliver high-impact healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• +5 years of professional experience as a Back-end Developer.
• +2 years of hands-on experience in Python.
• Experience with Django, including Django REST framework.
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Languages: French and English.

Responsabilités

• Backend Development: design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Python, Django, and related technologies.
• API Development: create and evolve RESTful APIs to power front-end and mobile apps and support third-party integrations.
• Performance & Optimization: monitor, identify, and resolve bottlenecks for fast, scalable applications.
• Architecture & Design: contribute to the platform's technical architecture for scalability and robustness.
• Security & Compliance: enforce best practices to protect sensitive health data in line with regulations.
