Axis Group is seeking a Claims Specialist (50%) in Belgium to independently manage both simple and complex auto and truck claims, acting as the primary contact for insurance brokers and guiding them through the entire process.

You will assess damage, coordinate with experts, monitor claims, and work across Claims, Underwriting, Prevention and Finance. A remote-friendly schedule, ongoing development, and strong teamwork are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law or Bachelor in Finance and Insurance.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in auto claims handling.
• Fluent in Dutch and French; English or German is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage both simple and complex claims files for cars and trucks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance brokers and guide them through the entire claims processing procedure.
• Assess the damage and decide whether to engage an internal or external expert.
• Closely monitor the claims, including recourse options and further follow-up on the claims.
• Take swift action, shift priorities, and maintain a clear overview.
• Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, Prevention, and Finance teams.
• Contribute ideas regarding teamwork and potential improvements.
