Job summary

Sumsub, a leading AI-powered trust infrastructure company, seeks a Senior Anti-Fraud Analyst to improve detection accuracy and signal quality across products. This hands-on role uses live production data to investigate fraud patterns, tune detection logic, and determine reliable signals and models.

You will evaluate detection quality, analyze client traffic, and support complex client cases, with a remote-first culture offering flexibility, time off, and global collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in anti-fraud, risk analytics, data science, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong knowledge of exploratory data analysis and classical machine learning (supervised & unsupervised).
• Hands-on experience with anomaly detection, clustering, and link-based or graph analysis.
• Proven fraud prevention or analytics experience and ability to work with raw, imperfect data.
• Fluent in English and clear communication of complex findings.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging fraud patterns and gaps in detection logic in live data.
• Develop and tune detection approaches using rules and ML models.
• Evaluate signal accuracy and optimize fraud indicators for better precision.
• Analyze traffic and alerts, reduce false positives and misses, propose concrete improvements.
• Build baseline rule sets and proactive alerts for fraud scenarios.
• Translate findings into actionable product recommendations for client cases.
