Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI Tooling Engineer to build and scale an internal agentic platform that unites knowledge, data and tools in a secure, accessible environment. You will own the full lifecycle from needs analysis to deployment, with LangGraph, MCP, and LLM APIs shaping production-ready AI agents across the organisation.

You will collaborate with a Principal Engineer to design and deploy capabilities, integrate APIs, manage access, and monitor cost and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software in Python.
• Proven production AI agent with LangGraph used by real users.
• Practical expertise in agent development: tool calling, embeddings, prompts, context design.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs from major providers including token management and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principal Engineer to design, develop, and deploy new platform capabilities from design to production.
• Integrate internal systems and SaaS apps via APIs and data sources with proper access controls.
• Build AI agents and MCP servers enabling cross-org interactions with internal systems.
• Improve retrieval workflows, tool calling, embeddings, prompts, and context management.
• Establish AI quality through evaluation datasets, benchmarks, and regression testing.
• Monitor costs per answer and token usage; optimize models and workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Turn PoCs into secure, scalable cloud apps with proper deployment processes and IAM.
• Use AI coding agents within development workflow with tests and reviews.
• Contribute to company-wide AI tooling standards and cost tracking.
• Support other teams in adopting the platform for AI-powered workflows.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and communicate solutions clearly.
