Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Geel is seeking a Reliability Engineer to strengthen a high-tech production environment. You will lead investigations, analyze data to drive investment decisions, and push preventive maintenance improvements in collaboration with the GET Geel team.

The role requires engineering education and familiarity with data tools; strong teamwork and communication are essential for cross-functional success at the site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or master in a science field with a technical background.
• Open to starters or engineers with initial experience in reliability.
• Strong Excel skills; PowerBI/Tableau or Python is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate and participate in equipment fault investigations to identify root causes and implement durable fixes.
• Collect and analyze data to reveal trends and bottlenecks and support optimal investment proposals.
• Assess where preventive and predictive maintenance should be expanded or optimized.
• Develop technical improvement proposals and represent the Maintenance & Reliability department in project teams.

Heb je enkele jaren ervaring, of ben je pas afgestudeerd en wil je je technische kennis uitbreiden in een hoogtechnologische productie omgeving? Wij zoeken een leergierige Reliability Ingenieur die sterk is in samenwerking, prioritisatie en analytisch denken. In deze rol werk je in multidisciplinaire teams en stelt praktische verbeterprojecten voor om onze productie-installaties optimaal te laten draaien.

Je komt terecht in het Maintenance & Reliability team van de Johnson & Johnson site in Geel — wereldwijd onze grootste productiesite van API’s (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). Ons team maakt deel uit van J&J GET (Global Engineering & Technology). Onze activiteiten ondersteunen de beschikbaarheid van talrijke innovatieve, levensreddende geneesmiddelen voor patiënten wereldwijd. Samen zorgen we ervoor dat de site veilig, kwalitatief en betrouwbaar blijft produceren.

Jobinhoud

• Faciliteren en actief deelnemen aan storingsonderzoeken van onze productie-installaties om de grondoorzaak van storingen vast te stellen. Om zo duurzame oplossingen te implementeren die herhaling van de storing voorkomen.
• Verzamelen en analyseren van data om trends en technische knelpunten zichtbaar te maken. Op basis van die analyses werk je samen met de brede technische GET Geel-afdeling en productiemanagement om de meest optimale investeringsvoorstellen uit te werken.
• Onderzoeken waar en hoe preventief en predictief onderhoud uitgebreid of geoptimaliseerd moet worden.
• Uitwerken van technische verbetervoorstellen en de Maintenance & Reliability afdeling vertegenwoordigen binnen grotere projectteams.

Wie zoeken we

• Opleiding: burgerlijk-, bio- of industrieel ingenieur, of master in een exacte wetenschap (bv. chemie, fysica), of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• Ervaring: open voor zowel starters als reliability ingenieurs met eerste werkervaring. Stages, thesissen, afstudeerprojecten of studentenjobs met raakvlakken aan maintenance/reliability zijn een plus.
• Data-vaardigheden: sterke kennis van Excel; ervaring met PowerBI, Tableau of Python is een plus, geen must.
• Talen: vlot in Nederlands en Engels.

• Technisch inzicht: je begrijpt snel hoe installaties en systemen werken, na een korte inwerkperiode kun je technische tekeningen en documenten interpreteren.
• Analytisch en probleemoplossend: je zoekt systematisch naar oorzaken, legt verbanden en vertaalt inzichten naar concrete, uitvoerbare acties.
• Leergierig en coachbaar: je staat open voor feedback en ontwikkelt jezelf continu.
• Georganiseerd en resultaatgericht: je houdt het overzicht over je taken en stelt zelfstandig prioriteiten.
• Communicatief: je legt technische zaken helder uit aan collega’s met uiteenlopende kennisniveaus en geeft presentaties aan het management.
• Teamspeler: je werkt graag samen en bouwt vertrouwen op bij collega’s uit verschillende afdelingen.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60.000,00 - €96.255,00
