Job summary

Qover seeks a legally trained compliance professional to drive regulatory strategy and governance within a double-regulated European InsurTech environment. You will report to the General Counsel and collaborate with the CEO, shaping a robust compliance and privacy architecture across EU and UK regimes.

In this advisory role, you will work with Management, Product, Operations, and external partners to ensure product oversight, consumer duty alignment, and robust regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a compliance function within Financial Services, FinTech, or Insurance sectors.
• Strong understanding of EU insurance distribution regulations (IDD, FSMA framework) and UK regulatory frameworks (FCA, Consumer Duty).
• Fluent English; French or Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern day-to-day compliance tasks across internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting for FSMA/UK FCA and related filings; maintain declarations.
• Advise on Sanctions, KYC, PEPS, and Suspicious Activity reporting; lead internal investigations as needed.
• Support audits and external reviews; drive continuous improvement in compliance processes.
• Track mandatory training hours for staff and oversee ESG-related compliance tasks.
