EBA CLEARING is a provider of pan-European payment infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a Regulatory and Compliance Officer to ensure our systems comply with regulatory and oversight requirements.

You will contribute to staying ahead of developments and supporting management with timely input. You will monitor compliance, draft and maintain self-assessments and annual reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization in a flexible work environment and with growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years of compliance work experience in financial institutions, law firms, or tech companies.
• Strong understanding of compliance processes and oversight frameworks.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and provide input to management and staff for regulatory compliance.
• Analyse requirements and devise action plans to achieve compliance in a fit-for-purpose, cost-efficient manner.
• Monitor EBA CLEARING’s compliance with regulations for Systemically Important Payment Systems and other company payment services.
• Review frameworks, policies, procedures and system documentation for ongoing compliance with oversight requirements.
• Handle day-to-day compliance matters and interact effectively with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with subject matter experts across areas of competence.
• Draft and maintain high-quality self-assessments for submission to authorities, with attention to detail and leadership support for analyses.
• Draft and maintain annual reviews and updates of documentation to comply with authorities’ requirements.

The role

The Regulatory and Compliance Officer contributes to ensuring that the Company and the systems for which it acts as business administrator are in compliance with regulatory/oversight requirements.

• Your tasks will include:staying abreast of regulatory developments to provide timely input to management and staff for regulatory compliance
• analysing requirements, devising action plans and to achieve compliance in a manner that is fit-for-purpose, cost-efficient and in accordance with industry best practices
• supporting the monitoring of EBA CLEARING’s compliance with the regulations and requirements for the operators of SIPS (Systemically Important Payment Systems); as well as requirements for all other payment systems and services of the Company
• reviewing frameworks, policies, procedures and system-related documentation to assess ongoing compliance with oversight requirements and regulatory guidance
• handling the day-to-day compliance matters, both for regulatory requirements, and interact effectively with relevant stakeholders
• developing and maintaining a positive and constructive relationship with the subject matter experts at the Company for the different areas of competence;
• drafting and maintaining high quality self-assessments for submission to the competent authorities, with high attention to detail and supported by leadership for in-depth analyses of the substance matters
• drafting and maintaining annual reviews and updates of documentation to comply with requirements of the competent authorities

The profile

• compliance work experience 3+ years. Experience with a financial institution(s), an international law firm or a technology company is a plus
• strong understanding of compliance processes and activities. Experience with supervisory or oversight frameworks and implementation of standards is a plus
• complete fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of other EU languages is a plus
