Jobtailor in Belgium seeks an experienced solution engineer to design and deploy Palantir Foundry pipelines and ontology models for defence and security scenarios, collaborating with stakeholders and traveling across Europe.

You will own end-to-end deployments, integrate intelligence into workflows, and develop operator-facing apps while ensuring security and compliance in air-gapped or on-premise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics or an equally technical field.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience with pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, Workbooks and application development
• Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash
• Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models
• Experience with Docker or Podman, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Linux, networking and on-premise fundamentals
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities
• Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based
• Nice to have: experience delivering software in classified, air-gapped or disconnected environments
• Nice to have: defence, intelligence, national-security or emergency-management background
• Nice to have: geospatial platforms and common-operating-picture tooling such as Esri or ArcGIS
• Nice to have: front-end frameworks and data-rich operator applications
• Nice to have: familiarity with NATO and national defence accreditation and compliance
• Nice to have: a second European language

Responsabilités

• Sit with defence and security users to understand situational-awareness and force-protection priorities and scope solutions
• Design, build and deploy data pipelines, ontology models and operator-facing applications on Palantir Foundry
• Integrate live intelligence into existing workflows, common operating pictures and command-and-control tooling
• Build and tune custom widgets based on user needs
• Own solutions end to end, from initial whiteboard sketch through operational deployment
• Debug infrastructure, networking and application issues across the full stack in restricted, disconnected or on-premise settings
• Advise customer engineers and operators and relay feedback into the product
• Travel to customer sites and operations centres in Europe approximately 25% to 75% of the time
