Wlgroup in Mons, Belgium is seeking a software engineer to design and operate data pipelines on Palantir Foundry for defence and security customers. You will own the end-to-end solution from concept to deployment and work directly with operators in Europe across centers of operation.

Expect on-site work three days every other week with travel to customer sites across Europe; a strong background in software engineering, containerization, and modern data platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in CS/engineering or physics.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry work: pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories and Workbooks.
• Fluency in Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript or JavaScript, Bash or Go.
• 3+ years of professional software or solutions engineering experience.
• Ability to quickly learn platform architectures and data models.
• Experience with containers (Docker/Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders; willingness to travel and work on-site.

Responsabilités

• Sit with defence users to identify needs for situational awareness and force protection.
• Design, build and deploy on Palantir Foundry: pipelines, ontology models and apps.
• Integrate live intelligence into workflows and operator dashboards.
• Develop and tune custom widgets as required.
• Own end-to-end solutions with limited supervision and sound judgment.
• Debug across infra, network, and application stacks, often on-premise.
• Advise customer engineers and relay feedback to product teams.
• Travel to customer sites and operations centres across Europe.
