Robert Half is recruiting a Real Estate Accountant (m/f/x) for a permanent role in the Brussels area. You will manage daily invoices and purchase orders related to real estate and related costs, support month-end closings, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external providers.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance, has first accounting experience (preferably in real estate), and is fluent in Dutch and/or French with strong English.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• First professional accounting experience is required, ideally in real estate or a similar setting.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French with very good English is essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily follow-up of invoices and purchase orders related to insurance, maintenance, repairs and capital expenditures.
• Monitor costs against budget and ensure accurate accounting allocations and postings.
• Support monthly closings, including accruals, prepaid expenses, capitalization and depreciation.
• Assist with reconciliations, fixed asset follow-up, reporting, audits and budget preparation.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers regarding accounting and operational questions.
• Contribute to insurance claims follow-up, ESG reporting and process compliance.
