Robert Half in Belgium is seeking a Part-Time Accountant to join a chemical-sector company based in Wavre. This is a 3/5 position with the flexibility to organise working days.

You will work independently and report to the Finance Director on a temporary assignment lasting several months. As a Part-Time Accountant you will handle day-to-day accounting under the Finance Manager, including processing bank and supplier invoices, monitoring invoicing, VAT returns, month-end and year-end closings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
• 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role is mandatory.
• French and English fluent (mandatory).
• Available immediately for a part-time role.
• Looking for a varied and hands-on position.

Responsabilités

• Process bank transactions, purchase invoices and sales invoices.
• Monitor invoicing activities and payment collections.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax returns.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries.

You will work independently and report directly to the Finance Director as part of a temporary assignment lasting several months.

As a Part-Time Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities under the supervision of the Finance Manager, including:

• Processing bank transactions, purchase invoices, and sales invoices ;
• Monitoring invoicing activities ;
• Following up on outstanding customer payments ;
• Preparing VAT returns ;
• Assisting with tax returns ;
• Preparing month-end and year-end closing entries.

Your profile as a Part-Time Accountant :

• You are available immediately ;
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (mandatory) ;
• You speak French and English (mandatory) ;
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role (mandatory) ;
