Robert Half is seeking a PAN-EU Financial Controller for a company in the Beringen region. You will join an international team handling finance controlling across Europe and report to the Finance Manager.

The role focuses on accurate reporting and month-end activities in an English‑speaking environment, with hybrid work options and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years in Accounting, Finance, Audit or Controlling.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/IFRS/VAT/Tax experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Handle pan-European finance controlling within an international team.
• Support financial reporting and controlling with local and international stakeholders.
• Report to the Finance Manager and contribute to key finance processes.
• Ensure accurate analysis, reporting and financial follow-up in an English-speaking environment.
• Contribute to month-end closing and assist at month start as needed.
• Collaborate with a small, multicultural finance team.

Robert Half is currently looking for a PAN-EU Financial Controller (M/F/X) for a company located in the Beringen region.

Our client is an international organization with a well-established European hub in Belgium. The company operates in a fast-moving and structured environment, supporting large-scale operations across multiple countries while maintaining a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The responsibilities for this job as PAN-EU Financial Controller (M/F/X) include:

• You take on a pan-European finance controlling role within an international finance team.
• You support financial reporting and controlling activities in close collaboration with local and international stakeholders.
• You report directly to the Finance Manager and contribute to the follow-up of key finance processes.
• You help ensure accurate analysis, reporting, and financial follow-up in an English-speaking business environment.
• You contribute to month-end closing activities and are prepared to provide extra support during the first working days of the month.
• You work closely with a small finance team in a multicultural and structured setting.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field, or you bring equivalent relevant experience.
• You have 1 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Controlling.
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• You combine strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Office in your daily work.
• You are a professional and respectful communicator with a strong work ethic.
• You have a mature, proactive, and hands-on mindset.
• You feel comfortable in a structured and hierarchical environment and understand expectations quickly, even when they are not always explicitly communicated.
• You bring experience with SAP, IFRS, VAT, corporate tax, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, or external audits as an advantage.
• You are motivated by working in an international and multicultural environment.

What does the company offer?

• You receive a permanent full-time contract.
• You can expect a gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,700, depending on your experience and background.
• You benefit from meal vouchers of €10 per working day.
• You receive a net expense allowance of €200 per month.
