Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking a UI Tester / Test Manager to help modernise a critical railway software system. You will alternate between tester and technical test manager roles as the project evolves, ensuring high-quality delivery from legacy C to Rust components.

You will analyze requirements, design tests, write documentation, and collaborate across the development team while participating in automation efforts and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Experience in server-side and client-side software testing.
• Rust knowledge is a plus; C or Java experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of EN50128/DO178 is an asset.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, document, and validate the software programme's functionalities.
• Write technical documentation for software modules and/or the system.
• Support the development team by adding value at each stage of the software development cycle.
• Maintain and improve test processes and automation where possible.
