Akkodis is seeking a Software Technical Lead to join an innovative team working on a safety-critical embedded system in the railway sector. You will contribute to RBC software, balancing hands-on development with leadership in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role combines software design, development, testing, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable train operations. Fluency in English and French is expected, with a strong background in real-time embedded systems and

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in real-time embedded software development.
Strong background in complex system development.
Experience in safety-critical environments (railway, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
Proven experience in technical leadership or coordination.
Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

Lead and organize software development activities within your scope.
Contribute to software specifications and architecture design based on system requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain software components (design, coding, reviews, testing).
Perform integration and functional testing using both physical and simulation platforms.
Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and methodologies.
Stay current with the latest technological trends.
Act as a key interface between software teams, program management, and other stakeholders.
Support planning, progress tracking, and QCD objectives.
Participate in change management processes (CCB).
Identify risks and ensure proper escalation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards (railway).
Contribute to software development plans and reviews.
Promote best practices, standardization, and re-use.
