ScioTeq Ltd is seeking an R&I Software and Electronics Engineer to join our Research & Innovation team in Belgium. You will contribute to multiple innovation projects, prototype and mature technologies for next-gen products, and collaborate across software, hardware and system engineering disciplines.

This role requires a master’s degree and 5–10 years of embedded software/electronics experience, with strong C and Python skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of embedded software and electronics experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in C and Python programming.
• Curious and innovative mindset with interest in emerging tech.
• Fluent in English and able to collaborate in an international team.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to strategic innovation projects and future initiatives.
• Perform software studies and investigations on next-gen computing platforms for safety and mission-critical use.
• Design and develop prototypes to validate new concepts and technologies.
• Contribute to architecture and design activities for solutions.
• Support technology roadmaps and prepare technologies for product adoption.
• Explore domains like graphics, AI, ML, communication, HMI and advanced video.
