ScioTeq BV in Belgium seeks a passionate Software Engineer to join its dynamic R&D department. You will develop software solutions for our Air Traffic Control and Defense & Security Business Unit.

With a Master’s degree and several years of embedded software experience, you will work on architecture, code enhancements, and cross-team collaboration to deliver reliable software and timely releases.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, computer sciences, or equivalent.
• Several years of related field experience.
• Embedded Linux experience and Build systems (Buildroot, Yocto).
• Programming in C/C++, Python, and Linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of networking and version control (SVN, Git).
• Strong English communication in an international team.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and enhance the existing codebase for the product.
• Translate NPIs requirements into necessary code changes.
• Contribute to defining the overall architecture for new developments.
• Collaborate with software and non-software teams to assess designs.
• Maintain a broad product overview and identify code reuse opportunities.
• Ensure reliable software deliverables and manage the release process.
• Estimate workloads and communicate milestones risks.
