ScioTeq is seeking an experienced R&I Software Engineer to join our Research & Innovation team in Belgium. You will contribute to multiple innovation projects, investigating and maturing technologies for future products, leveraging C and Python within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities include prototyping, architecture input, and risk mitigation across software, hardware and systems. A Master’s degree and 5–10 years embedded software experience are preferred, with strong English

• Strong programming skills in C and Python.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to execution of strategic innovation projects and future initiatives.
• Perform software studies and technical investigations for next-gen computing platforms.
• Design and develop prototypes validating new concepts and technologies.
• Contribute to architecture and design activities for solutions.
• Support technology roadmaps and prepare technologies for product adoption.
• Explore domains like graphics, AI, ML, communication, HMI and advanced video solutions.
• Assist proposal, demo and feasibility activities for innovation programs.
• Collaborate with experts across software, hardware and system engineering.
• Identify technical risks and create solutions enabling product development.
