Job summary

Toyota Motor Europe in Brussels is seeking a Junior IT Solution Delivery Specialist to turn R&D needs into sustainable digital solutions, owning the IT path from idea to operation. You will work with the R&D Innovation team to connect product development with IT specialists, manage lifecycle from demand through implementation to handover, and collaborate with architects, Core IT, suppliers and procurement.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business engineering or related field.
Fluent in English.
Initial experience in project or solution delivery, business analysis, or solution design.
Eagerness to learn structured problem-solving (PDCA, TBP) and grow towards programme management or solution architecture.

Responsibilities

Manage IT solutions for R&D across their lifecycle from demand through feasibility, implementation and handover to application support, to run and modernisation.
Act as sparring partner to R&D product owners and business analysts; clarify problems, merit and processes; break down requirements into technical requirements and supplier work plans.
Turn initiatives into building blocks or investigations toward longer-term transformation goals; release merit early and reuse shared IT platforms.
Coordinate with solution architects, Core IT, suppliers and Purchasing to get an approved, secure and maintainable solution; manage plan, budget, risks and quality; ensure clear support model and handover before go-live.
Keep status, decisions, risks and deliverables traceable in Jira and Confluence; contribute to portfolio transparency and continuous improvement.
