Securitas Technology Belgium is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced wireless communication solutions in MF and HF, reinforcing our leadership in the global mission-critical communication market.

You will design hardware and software, define specifications, run tests and documentation, and collaborate with Sales, Partners and international teams to translate customer needs into robust, compliant technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecom, or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D / engineering.
• Strong knowledge of radio communication and RF technologies.
• Experience in hardware/software integration is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Innovative and solution-oriented.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex topics.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Languages: English and Dutch or French.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop innovative communication solutions (hardware & software).
• Define specifications, build concepts and simulations.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ITU, IMO, NATO, ICAO, etc.).
• Develop and validate prototypes.
• Perform verification, measurements and qualification testing.
• Define and execute test plans (functional, RF, compliance).
• Create technical documentation (manuals, training materials, product files).
• Support product training and internal knowledge sharing.
• Ensure long-term product support and lifecycle consistency.
• Collaborate with Sales & Business Development to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Support product demonstrations and technical proposals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners (contract manufacturers, advisors, international organizations).

Your Mission

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative communication solutions (hardware & software)
• Define specifications, build concepts and simulations
