Job summary

Servier is seeking an R&D Communications Director, based in Saclay, to design and deploy a comprehensive R&D communications strategy. You will align messaging with the R&D strategy, enhance visibility of priorities, and drive reputation and engagement for the Group’s R&D ecosystem.

The role reports to the Global Chief Communications Officer and requires leading a small team while coordinating with multiple centers worldwide to ensure consistent messaging and impact.

Qualifications

• More than five years’ experience as a Communications Director in a large global company.
• More than 15 years’ overall experience in an international, technical or scientific environment.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to corporate communications strategy and build an integrated R&D roadmap.
• Define strategic priorities for R&D communications in alignment with the R&D strategy.
• Identify challenges and showcase expertise to internal and external audiences.
• Deploy and oversee the R&D communications roadmap with KPIs.
• Lead external communications: press materials, talking points, and events.
• Manage a team of two and coordinate the global network.
