Jobat is seeking a Director Quality and R&D for a well-established Belgian food manufacturer, specializing in bakery products for international markets. You will lead the quality organization (10 FTE) and partner with Operations to drive risk reduction, food safety systems, HACCP, traceability, allergen management, supplier quality, and certifications such as BRC, IFS, RSPO and FDA.

• Manage and continuously improve the quality and food safety management system.
• Partner with Operations to identify risks and implement corrective actions on the production floor.
• Oversee HACCP, traceability, allergen management, supplier quality, product specifications, complaints, and product compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain certifications including BRC, IFS, RSPO, and FDA standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, certification bodies, and public authorities while promoting a culture of shared responsibility for quality and food safety.
