Qualifications

• Bachelier ou Master en domaine technique ou équivalent par expérience.
• Maîtrise parfaite du NL, FR et EN.
• Esprit analytique et rédactionnel.
• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et structurée.

Responsabilités

• Préparer et soumettre les dossiers de certification auprès des autorités et organismes de certification.
• Analyser les normes qualité, les spécifications clients et la réglementation aéronautique et adapter les procédures.
• Organiser et superviser les audits externes et suivre les constatations.
• Participer à l'évaluation des fournisseurs et surveiller la qualité des produits et services fournis.
• Gérer les Non-Conformités au niveau Qualité et proposer des actions correctives.
• Contribuer à l'amélioration continue des processus et réaliser des formations sur les sujets qualité.
• Réaliser des audits internes et assurer le reporting des constats et actions correctives.
• Apporter un soutien méthodologique à la direction et aux owners de processus lors des déviations qualité.

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ ?), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. QUALITY ENGINEER:

Your role:

• ? You prepare and submit certification files to national authorities and certification bodies.
• ? You analyze quality standards, norms, customer specifications, contracts and aviation regulations and adapt internal procedures or manuals, or draft new procedures.
• ? You organize and supervise external audits of customers, authorities and certification organisations and handle the findings.
• ? You are part of the validation process of suppliers and subcontractors and monitor the process regarding the quality of the delivered products and services.
• ? You support the owners of the processes in dealing with quality deviations/findings, using quality basic techniques.
• ? You propose actions to improve the efficiency of the business processes.
• ? You prepare presentations and provide training to colleagues on quality topics.
• ? You participate in multidisciplinary projects.
• ? You conduct internal quality audits, provide reporting of findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• ? You assist in the statistical analysis of data and its reporting.
• ? You manage Non-Conformities at the Quality Level:
  • o Report any non-compliance and/or non-application of quality rules to management.
  • o Record and monitor quality deviations identified in products and processes, in accordance with the company's quality system.
  • o Analyze and catalog quality deviations relating to products and processes in order to statistically determine areas for improvement within the company.
  • o Raise awareness and provide guidance to all staff regarding quality management to ensure product compliance and the effective operation of company processes.
  • o Provide methodological support to management and/or process owners when addressing quality deviations in their area (using QMS tools).
  • o Independently validate the root causes of quality deviations as defined by process owners.
  • o Independently verify the effectiveness of corrective and remedial actions resulting from quality deviations.
• ? You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent through experience.
• ? You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• ? You are analytically and editorially minded.
• ? You are creative in finding solutions within the established framework.
• ? You can work independently and are committed to develop your knowledge through self-study and research.
• ? You are open minded, you work in a structured way and you can motivate people with regards to the quality and safety policy of the company.
• ? Additional qualifications that may help you in this role (but not a must have) include:
  • o Experience in quality and safety management in aviation
  • o Knowledge of standards and guidelines from national and international aviation authorities (EN9110, EASA part 145, etc)
  • o Knowledge of quality management systems
  • o Knowledge of aircraft engines, metrology
  • o Knowledge of process management
  • o Knowledge and ability to apply quality techniques and methodologies, such as problem solving techniques (8D, Ishikawa, flow charts, , ...), audit techniques.
