UCB S.A. is seeking a Quality Control Team Leader to manage a laboratory team at the Braine-l'Alleud campus in Belgium, overseeing analytical testing for Pharmaceutics & Raw Materials products.

You will drive high-quality analyses, support Phase III and commercial products, and coordinate New Product Introductions while pushing for operational excellence and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes developing the team and fostering a strong safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Sciences, or related field.
• Proven experience leading technical teams within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, GC, NMR, atomic absorption).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop laboratory technicians.
• Ensure timely analytical testing and plan activities.
• Coordinate New Product Introductions from analytical and logistical perspectives.
• Drive GMP, HSE, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs, oversee investigations, and implement CAPAs.
• Champion continuous improvement and cross-functional partnerships.
