UCB is seeking a QA Officer – Analytical Services to join our QA Analytical Services team at the Braine-l’Alleud site. You will ensure quality oversight of analytical laboratory operations and guarantee compliance with global regulations and UCB standards.

The role focuses on maintaining a robust QC environment, driving continuous improvement, supporting inspections, audits, and coaching stakeholders on Quality Management Systems to promote a strong quality culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Strong experience in analytical techniques and GxP (FDA, EMA, ICH) regulations.
• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems and auditing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management capabilities.

We are looking for a QA Officer – Analytical Services who is quality-driven, collaborative, and solution-oriented to join our QA Analytical Services team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

About The Role

In this role, you are going to ensure quality oversight of analytical laboratory operations, guaranteeing compliance with global regulations and UCB standards. You will play a key role in maintaining a strong Quality Control environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring analytical systems and processes remain robust, compliant, and efficient across the Braine site.

Who You Will Work With

You will work closely with Quality Control teams, QA colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders supporting laboratory operations. You will collaborate with internal experts and external partners to ensure compliance, drive quality culture, and support inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities across the organization.
