SABCA in Brussels seeks a Hydraulic Test Technician to perform tests on hydraulic systems and components for space launchers, ensuring performance, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.

You will work with assembly operators, set up tests, monitor calibration, and draft precise test reports while upholding safety and environmental standards. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is essential; French/Dutch language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace or space sector is an advantage.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch; technical English is a plus.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanical principles.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with assembly operators to support hydraulic testing.
• Test and adjust hydraulic flight control system for the A6 launcher.
• Set up vibration, climatic, and power tests; monitor calibration.
• Write test reports and document results clearly and accurately.
• Update technical documentation and testing procedures.
• Identify issues and make recommendations for improvements.

Mission:

Your main missionasHydraulic Test Technicianis to perform tests on hydraulic systems and components for space launchers,in order toevaluate their performance, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.

Responsabilities:

• Work closely withassembly operators;
• Be responsible foradjusting and testing the hydraulic flight control system of the new A6 space launcher;
• Set up and perform various tests: vibration, climatic, and power tests;
• Monitor the calibration and adjustment of all devices;
• Write test reports and record results;
• Update technical documentation related to test procedures and specifications;
• Make recommendations.

You areresponsiblefor:

• Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard;
• Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work;
• Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support;
• Complyingwithsafety, health, and environmental rules;
• Reporting risks and applying procedures to prevent incidents.

Profile:

Education/Experience:

• Education:You hold aBachelor’sdegree in electromechanics or equivalent by experience.
• Desiredexperience:Experience in the aerospace or space sector is an advantage.
• SoftSkills:
• Youdemonstratecritical thinking and attention to detail;
• You pay particular attention to quality and safety;
• You work independently and take responsibility for your projects;
• You are flexible and enjoy working in a team.
• Technical:You have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanical principles.
• Languages:You speak French and/or Dutch fluently; technical English is a plus.
