Pauwels Consulting supports a client in the energy sector seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to strengthen the quality management framework for high-voltage primary system equipment, ensuring sustainable and reliable infrastructure.

You will develop a comprehensive QA framework, participate in audits of external suppliers, create dashboards to monitor quality, manage non-conformities, map processes with BPMN/SIPOC, and organize technical documentation within document management systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management systems and supplier quality follow-up.
• Technical knowledge of high-voltage or primary system equipment.
• Experience mapping business processes using BPMN, SIPOC, or flowcharts.
• Experience with document management systems or collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
• Technical or engineering background through education or equivalent experience.
• You're proactive, structured, and demonstrate an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• You're willing to travel to installations within Belgium and to suppliers across Europe.
• You're fluent in English.

The role involves overseeing both internal and external quality assurance processes for high-voltage primary system equipment to ensure sustainable and reliable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive Quality Management framework including processes, tools, and guidelines.
• Participate in factory audits and review quality management systems for external high-voltage equipment suppliers.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
• Experience with specific tools such as eDoc, HyperTree, or InfraRef.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications in quality management.
