InTouch in Leuven/Sint-Truiden hybrid is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to strengthen our testing strategy and automate quality checks for a smart cities platform. You will contribute to robust test design, ensure feature readiness, and support AI-enhanced quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Senior QA Engineer with experience in test architecture.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Validate functionalities: test and validate new features meeting technical and user requirements.
• Identify & document bugs: track bugs and their causes for effective resolution.
• Manage quality processes: create test scenarios, optimize the test plan, and report to stakeholders.
• Automated Testing: Set up and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework (Python) to guarantee consistent software quality.
• Innovate testing processes: improve testing efficiency with AI-driven solutions.

Your main goal is to grow and optimize the existing InTouch product by testing the software and managing quality processes:

• Validate Functionalities: Test and validate new functionalities, ensuring they meet both technical and user requirements.
• Identify & Document Bugs: Track bugs and their causes, ensuring they’re resolved effectively.
• Manage Quality Processes: Create test scenarios, optimize the test plan, and report to stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Automated Testing: Set up and maintain automated tests using the Robot Framework (Python) to guarantee consistent software quality.
• Innovate Testing Processes: Help make our testing processes more efficient and innovative, leveraging AI-driven solutions.

What are we looking for in you?

• We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer, someone who creates structure, naturally takes charge, and isn't afraid to dive deep.
• Tech Expertise: In your tech toolkit we’ll find: Git, SQL, Docker, and Bash to enhance testing and automation workflows.
• Standards Savvy: Familiarity with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI is a bonus.
• Broader Tools & Skills: Experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript, is a big cherry on top
• You are analytical and quality-driven.
• You are eager to optimize and automate the testing process.
• You find collaborating with the development team challenging and exciting.
• You are entrepreneurial and have a positive, proactive mindset.
• You’re always eager to learn and open to training opportunities.
• You are fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English.
