NTT DATA in Brussels seeks an experienced QA & Testing Expert to strengthen Quality Services across presales and project delivery. The role combines IT QA excellence with active presales participation, client discussions, and proposal preparation, while leading delivery as Senior Consultant, Project Manager, or Quality Transformation Lead.

You will drive testing strategy design, governance, and QA maturity assessments, supported by a strong background in software testing and quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing and/or Quality Engineering.
• Experience defining test strategies, QA operating models and transformation initiatives.
• Experience conducting testing maturity assessments or audits (ideally TMMi).

• Participate in presales activities and preparation of proposals, RFPs, RFIs and tenders related to QA, Testing and Quality Engineering services.
• Analyze client requirements and define testing strategies, delivery models, methodologies, governance and operating models.
• Lead or support QA and Testing projects, ensuring quality, timelines, scope and client alignment.
• Provide expertise across testing disciplines: functional, non-functional, automation, performance, API/integration, mobile/web, DevOps, TMMi.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA & Testing Expert to strengthen our Quality Services capabilities across both presale sand project delivery.

The role combines deep expertise in IT Quality Assurance and Testing with the ability to participate actively in presales activities,client discussions, solution definition and proposal preparation, while also taking a leading role in the delivery of Quality Services engagements. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert and, depending on the engagement, as a Senior Consultant or Project Manager, supporting clients from the initial identification of their quality needs through solution definition and successful project execution.

Your role:

• Participate actively in presales activities and preparation of proposals, RFPs, RFIs and tenders related to QA, Testing and Quality Engineering services.
• Analyze client requirements and define appropriate testing strategies, delivery models, methodologies, governance and operating models.
• Contribute to the design and sizing of QA and Testing solutions, including scope, team structure, effort estimation, tooling and transition approaches.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, presentations and proposal defenses as a QA/Testing subject matter expert.
• Actively participate in Quality Services projects, taking roles such as Senior QA Consultant, Testing Expert, Project Manager or Quality Transformation Lead, depending on the nature of the engagement.
• Lead or support the planning, coordination and execution of QA and Testing projects, ensuring quality, timelines, scope and client expectations are effectively managed.
• Provide expertise across a broad range of testing disciplines, including:
  • Functional and non-functional testing
  • Test automation
  • Performance and load testing API and integration testing
  • Mobile and web testing
  • Continuous Testing / DevOps
  • Quality Engineering and shift-left approaches
  • Test management and governance
  • Testing Centers of Excellence / Testing Factories
• Conduct or lead QA maturity assessments and audits, TMMi assessments and comparable testing maturity frameworks.

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing and/or Quality Engineering. Broad knowledge of modern testing methodologies, processes, tools and delivery models.
• Practical experience defining test strategies, QA operating models and transformation initiatives.
• Experience conducting testing maturity assessments or audits, ideally based on TMMi.
• Demonstrated experience participating in IT presales processes, including RFP/RFI responses and proposal preparation.
• Experience delivering QA/Testing engagements as a Senior Consultant, Project Manager or equivalent senior role.
• Ability to manage client-facing projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive engagements from definition through execution.
• Ability to transform business and technical requirements into structured QA solutions.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch is highly desirable.
