MEERAB GROUP is seeking a quality assurance professional to join a cross-functional agile team delivering high-quality media products. You will create and maintain test plans, translate user stories into test scenarios, and collaborate with developers to improve automation and coverage.

You will perform functional, exploratory and regression tests on web, mobile apps, video and live sports data, monitor quality around live moments, and help define the testing strategy for the team.

Qualifications

• QA experience in an agile product team.
• Developing test plans and manual test scenarios.
• Reading and reviewing automated tests, e.g. Cypress or Playwright.
• Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket,..).
• JMeter/Artillery/K6 Performance testing.
• Mobile app, iOS, and Android testing.
• Web testing

• Within the team, you are the point of contact for quality.
• You work independently and in a structured way: you make your own plan, set priorities and ensure that the team knows where it stands in terms of quality at all times.
• You also actively help to monitor and improve the quality of the existing products, so that we can always deliver the highest quality to our users.
• Develop and maintain a test plan and a test strategy for the team.
• Translating user stories into concrete manual test scenarios, including edge cases, and documenting them in such a way that they are reusable.
• Performing functional, exploratory and regression tests on web, mobile apps, video and live sports data.
• Determine what needs to be automated, coordinate this with the developers and monitor and review the existing automated test coverage.
• Detecting, reporting and following up on quality issues, and working with developers, architects and business to determine the testing strategy.
• Monitoring the quality around live moments. Because live sports data sometimes comes in after hours, testing outside of office hours is occasionally necessary — that's the exception, not the rule.

Who are you?

• You work independently and in a structured way: you set up a test approach without direction, monitor progress and keep your documentation in order.
• You translate user stories into clear test scenarios and have an eye for edge cases.
• You propose an appropriate quality strategy for your team, taking into account the context, and substantiate your choices.
• Your sccorrectly assesses the risk of a change and chooses the appropriate test approach: a critical bug fix requires a targeted impact analysis and a targeted test, a new feature a full round of testing.
• You substantiate that choice, even when there is time pressure.
• You can estimate how much time testing will take, so that the product owner can count on it when planning bug fixes and features.
• You can read and assess automated tests (Cypress, Playwright), and thus help monitor whether the team's automation covers the right thing. You don't have to build a test framework yourself.
• You take the lead in improving and securing quality, and involve the rest of the team in a collaborative approach.
• You report clearly on quality and risks, so that the team and the product owner know where they stand.
• Experience with live, time-critical publishing — in the media sector or a similar environment — is a plus.
