Stowgroup is seeking a QA Test Engineer to perform comprehensive testing of our Offboard Systems software on physical hardware before release. You will work in the R&D department, collaborating closely with software developers and onboard engineers to ensure quality.

You will validate test scenarios across Atlas shuttle, Escala shuttle, and MCS conveyor hardware, review release notes, and document test processes and reports. Fluency in Dutch and English and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in IT, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong SQL and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of API testing.
• Basic knowledge of C# or .NET is a plus.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar issue tracking systems.
• Experience with hardware/software integration testing is valuable.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Test comprehensively of Offboard Systems software on physical hardware prior to release.
• Collaborate with software developers and onboard engineers in the R&D department.
• Test across different hardware configurations (Atlas shuttle, Escala shuttle, MCS conveyor) and databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server).
• Verify backwards compatibility for seamless upgrades.
• Execute customer-specific test scenarios with custom plugins and configurations.
• Validate release notes documenting new features and fixes.
• Document test processes and create detailed test reports; communicate results to development teams.
• Participate in identifying and documenting software defects using issue tracking tools.
