Optimile, a Belgium-based company, is seeking a QA Engineer to join a cross-functional squad in Ghent, operating in a hybrid setup. You will own quality from requirements through production and work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Owner and engineers to ensure features are thoroughly tested, reliable and scalable.

You will help build automated tests and expand coverage; prior automation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Professional QA experience with hands-on test automation.
• Strong test design and edge-case awareness.
• Experience testing web applications and APIs (REST).
• Structured, detail-oriented mindset with root-cause analysis.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute functional, regression, integration and exploratory tests.
• Own the quality of features from requirements through to production.
• Investigate, reproduce and document defects to resolution.
• Build and maintain automated UI and API tests and increase coverage.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and propose improvements.
• Advocate for testability and clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into testable scenarios.
• Share QA knowledge to promote quality across the team.
• Communicate progress, risks and blockers proactively.
