Job summary

TDW is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a 6-month temporary assignment in Nivelles, Belgium. You will partner with the Quality Manager to strengthen the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015 and drive supplier quality across a global supply chain.

The role involves leading improvement projects, conducting supplier audits, coordinating MRB activities, and applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to enhance quality performance. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of quality engineering in an ISO 9001 environment.
• Experience with supplier quality management and auditing.
• ASQ CQE/CQA or Six Sigma certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and process improvement projects to enhance quality performance.
• Analyze quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Coordinate MRB activities and drive NCR/CAR processes.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and provide actionable insights through reporting.
• Support evaluation and testing of purchased components and sub-assemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve production and product quality challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across a global supply chain.
