Job summary

EKXEL IT Services & Financial Engineering is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to lead development and deployment of next-generation autonomous AI systems for public-sector projects. You will work with customers, translate complex requirements into technical specs, and champion structured outputs, function calling, and intelligent workflow orchestration.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to security and privacy standards, and the delivery of measurable value

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, ML, or related field.
• 2+ years in AI system development, with at least 6 months on agentic AI architectures.
• Proven track record deploying AI solutions in production.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on AI tech.
• Proficiency in Python, Mojo, Rust, Go, Julia, and TypeScript.
• Experience with ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, RL).
• Knowledge of agentic AI systems and autonomous agents.
• Familiarity with AWS for deploying AI solutions.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms for performance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to identify where agentic AI adds value.
• Translate requirements into technical specs for AI solutions.
• Guide on agentic AI potential to improve experiences and efficiency.
• Define success metrics aligned with goals and compliance.
• Lead workshops and training on agentic AI capabilities.

• Implement testing protocols for reliability and accuracy.
• Integrate AI systems into existing workflows.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and resources.
• Oversee deployment across environments ensuring stability.
• Track system performance and compliance in real time.
• Maintain data privacy and security during deployment.
• Create system architecture docs and design pattern notes.
• Develop user guides and training materials.
• Communicate progress and outcomes through reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on timelines and deliverables.
