Elia Belgium, part of the Elia Group, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong energy-sector expertise to drive strategic initiatives shaping the Belgian and European energy landscape.

The role collaborates with regulators, DSOs, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of critical projects, acting as SPOC and Product Owner for internal tracks while advancing regulatory and market initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the energy sector.
• Deep understanding of transmission and distribution system operations, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
• Ability to navigate and align diverse stakeholders, including regulators, DSOs, and executive management.
• Strong facilitation skills to drive consensus and alignment at executive level.
• Ability to act as Product Owner for internal implementation tracks.

Responsabilités

• Act as SPOC for Elia, safeguarding priorities in the implementation roadmap of external vendors.
• Drive delivery of the T/DSO common tooling roadmap and ensure executive alignment on strategic decisions.
• Follow up on day-to-day activities of Elia's internal implementation team and manage dependencies.
• Participate in business architecture discussions to embed Elia's strategic principles in all solutions.
• Contribute to steering the creation of a new company across legal, regulatory, and financial tracks.

Elia is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong expertise in the energy sector to contribute to strategic initiative that will shape the future of the Belgian and European energy landscape.

In this role, they will operate in a complex stakeholder environment, collaborating with regulators, DSOs, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of critical projects. They will act as SPOC for Elia, safeguarding Elia's priorities in the implementation roadmap of external vendors and driving the delivery of the T/DSO common tooling roadmap. This includes facilitating executive-level alignment on strategic decisions, considering upcoming challenges such as congestion management and flexibility in the energy system.

As a Product Owner, they will follow up on day-to-day activities of Elia's internal implementation team, manage dependencies, and involve product managers where needed. Additionally, they will participate in business architecture discussions to ensure Elia's strategic principles are embedded in all solutions.

Alongside this delivery focus, they will also contribute to steering the creation of a new company, supporting the legal, regulatory, and financial tracks and ensuring compliance with all relevant frameworks.

This mission requires senior project management skills, a proven ability to navigate complex environments, and a strong understanding of the energy sector. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative projects that accelerate the energy transition.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the energy sector.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment with regulatory, legal, and financial complexities.
