Capgemini Engineering Belgium is seeking a capable MES project manager to lead transformational MES implementations for Life Sciences clients, leveraging Siemens Opcenter or AVEVA platforms.

You will oversee full lifecycle from requirements through go‑live and hypercare, ensure GMP compliance, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and report progress to senior stakeholders. Fluency in English is required; French or Dutch is a plus; hybrid working arrangement in Belgium offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, or related discipline with at least 3 years of MES project experience.
• Familiar with GMP environments and shop-floor technology projects.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch language skills are a plus.

You will be part of a forward-thinking team delivering Manufacturing Execution System (MES) transformation projects for leading Life Sciences clients in Belgium. At Capgemini Engineering, we are at the forefront of smart manufacturing and digital factory initiatives, and this role places you at the centre of that journey.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Managing the full project lifecycle for MES implementations using Siemens Opcenter or AVEVA platforms, from requirements gathering through to go-live and hypercare
• Coordinating with manufacturing, IT, quality, and validation teams to ensure MES solutions are delivered in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards
• Tracking project KPIs, managing project budgets, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders and steering committees
• Facilitating change management activities to drive user adoption of new MES capabilities across production and operations teams
• Ensuring proper documentation, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the project in alignment with validated system lifecycle requirements

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and have at least 3 years of experience managing MES projects, ideally with Siemens Opcenter or AVEVA in a regulated industry
• You are familiar with manufacturing processes and GMP environments, and understand the specific challenges of delivering technology projects on the shop floor
• You communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and are skilled at facilitating workshops, managing conflicts, and driving decisions
• You are proactive, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining a clear focus on delivery quality
• You are fluent in English; French or Dutch language skills are a plus
