Job summary

Thales Group in Belgium seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Tubize site to lead contracts, align with customer strategy, and drive delivery within budgets, schedules and quality targets.

You will manage customer relationships, coordinate with subcontractors, and steer risk management across a large, high-tech program. Fluent English with French/Dutch is required, and 10+ years in delivery and operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Civil or industrial engineer, Master degree or MBA, or equivalent by experience.
• Native French and/or Dutch with Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead contracts deliveries to achieve customer satisfaction within technical, industrial, financial and time constraints.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Ensure realization and optimization of contractual requirements with customers and subcontractors within budgets, quality, schedules and strategy.
• Lead, supervise and coach internal and external stakeholders across functions.
• Apply Thales processes and governance.
• Model, monitor and improve financial results by identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.

In Tubize, you will join more than 250 colleagues recognized by domestic and international partners for expertise on products such as Radio Frequency (RF) Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others.

Your mission:

• You lead and are accountable for the contracts deliveries to reach customer satisfaction where technical, industrial, financial and time constraints demand decisive leadership.
• Manage the customer relationship and ensure that the customer strategic vision and business objectives are met
• Ensure the realization and optimization of the contractual requirements (with the customers as well as with the subcontractors) in respect of budgets, quality levels, schedules and business segment strategy
• Manage, supervise and coach the internal and external stakeholders in a transverse way
• Apply Thales process
• Model, follow and improve the financial results on the program by identifying solutions and managing risk and opportunities
• Ensure product safety and compliance with standards and regulations

We are looking forward to:

• Civil or industrial engineer, Business School Master Degree, MBA or equivalent by experience
• Languages: Native French and/or Dutch + Fluent English
• +10 years experience in delivery & operation management for large programs in a high-tech and complex environment
• Experience in hardware and software development projects is a strong asset
• Contract and change management experience
• Customers and subcontractors relationships experience
• Very good relationship and very strong soft skills
