Leap29 is supporting an established engineering partner with several Project Engineers for ongoing pharmaceutical projects in Central Belgium. This freelance role covers a hands-on project delivery across a portfolio of smaller CAPEX projects, plant modifications and upgrades within an operational pharmaceutical environment. You will own projects through the lifecycle and coordinate with multiple stakeholders on site.

Qualifications

• Pharma/Biopharma project experience is preferred.
• Experience delivering projects through multiple lifecycle stages.
• Hands-on, practical approach to project engineering.
• Ability to prepare scopes/specifications and coordinate contractors or vendors.

Responsabilités

• Define project scope and prepare technical specifications.
• Support concept and basic engineering activities.
• Coordinate engineering disciplines, vendors and contractors.
• Manage project schedules, costs and technical deliverables.
• Support procurement and contractor selection.
• Coordinate installation and site execution.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with site engineering, operations and quality stakeholders.
• Ensure GMP, safety and quality requirements are met.

Leap29 is supporting an established engineering partner with the appointment of several Project Engineers for ongoing pharmaceutical projects in Central Belgium.

This is a hands‑on project delivery position, working across a portfolio of smaller CAPEX projects, plant modifications and upgrades within an operational pharmaceutical environment.

The Role

You will take ownership of individual projects and modifications through the project lifecycle, including:

• Defining project scope and preparing technical specifications
• Supporting concept and basic engineering activities
• Coordinating engineering disciplines, vendors and contractors
• Managing project schedules, costs and technical deliverables
• Supporting procurement and contractor selection
• Coordinating installation and site execution
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover
• Managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously
• Working closely with site engineering, operations, quality and other project stakeholders
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with GMP, safety and quality requirements

Your Background

We are interested in Project Engineers from backgrounds including:

• Mechanical / Utilities
• Process
• Piping
• Electrical / E&I

You should have:

• Previous Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical project experience
• Experience delivering projects or modifications through multiple stages of the lifecycle
• A practical, hands‑on approach to project engineering
• Experience preparing scopes/specifications and coordinating contractors or vendors
• Good understanding of GMP engineering environments
• Ability to work on‑site in Central Belgium
