Tein Technology is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Operations Department. You will implement and install projects at client sites, work with a project manager and system engineers, and take ownership of technical installations from design to deployment.

You will also perform maintenance, provide training, document installations, and act as the technical contact for customers while coordinating with the presales team on solution design.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years ICT experience.
• Interest in video, voice or visualization (KVM) solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IP networks, security, routing & switching, virtualization, databases, Linux and Windows Server.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Good client relationships and able to act as technical contact person.
• Analytical thinking and ability to create technical designs.
• Autonomous yet a team player, dynamic and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

As Project Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Department of Tein Technology. You will be responsible for the implementation of new installations at the client. You’ll team up with a project manager and one or more system engineers. You take ownership on the technical installation of the offered system. Your tasks are mainly:

Project Based:

• Implement and install projects:
• Prepare future installations in lab environment.
• Install and commission the solution at the customer’s site.
• Give training sessions to Users and Administrators.
• Identify, log, describe, escalates and follow up issues with the suppliers.
• Document the installation (As-built) and create user manuals.
• Act as technical focal point towards the customer: listen, understand and communicate with the client regarding his “wishes/ requirements” and report towards your colleagues.
• Interact with the presales team on the design of the solution in the pre-sales phase.

Maintenance:

• Execute first- and second-line corrective maintenance 24H/7D on different products/technologies.
• You are 3rd line support to the System Engineers on the installations you set up
• Assistance to System Engineers when severe issues arise

POSITION’S REQUIREMENTS

Education, Knowledge & Work Experience:

• Master level in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ICT.
• Interests in Video, Voice or visualization (KVM) solutions
• Extended knowledge of IP networks, network security, routing & switching, virtual technology, databases, Linux and Windows Server.

Required skills:

• Fluent in Dutch/French and English.
• Excellent communication skills (oral as well as written).
• Good client relationships: being the technical contact person.
